We are thrilled to announce the recipients of this year’s EduSTEM Grant. These projects stood among the rest for their innovative approach towards advancing STEM education and making science accessible and engaging.

MSMBB EduSTEM Grant 2025

 

 

Applications for the MSMBB EduSTEM Grant 2025 is now OPEN.

The Malaysian Society for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MSMBB) EduSTEM grant funds STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education projects and activities that are aligned with the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve the quality of education, life, health, and wellbeing. A grant of up to RM5,000 is available to be applied by MSMBB members.

 
 
Who can apply?
This grant is open to all MSMBB members who are ≥ 18 years old 

What project is eligible?
- The duration of the project should be ≤ 1 year
- The project must be carried out in Malaysia. Hence, allocated grant will not be transferred outside of Malaysia.
 
How to apply?
The applicant for the grant will have to fill up and submit this form, latest by 15 December 2024.

What happens after the grant is awarded?
All successful applicants must present their progress once a year. An oral presentation at the MSMBB annual conference OR submission of a paper to a reputable journal, such as APJMBB, acknowledging the funder is mandatory.

We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the Malaysian Society for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MSMBB) EduSTEM 2026 grant are now open for innovative STEM education projects that make a difference. The MSMBB EduSTEM grant supports initiatives that align with UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — promoting quality education, health, and well-being through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning.

? Grant Highlights:
• Funding of up to RM 5,000 per project
• Open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above
• Project leader must be an active MSMBB member (project members are strongly encouraged to join too!)
• Project duration: up to 1 year
